Actually we could!
I do not know when the app binary gets compiled and how it ends up in the project. But it does compile on aarch64. This will be interesting.

Do you know the boinc platform string for aarch64 linux?

I suppose you mean

aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu
for 64-bit ARM Linux

as opposed to
arm-unknown-linux-gnueabihf
for 32-bit ARM Linux

For even more BOINC platform strings: see https://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/BoincPlatforms.

The present 32-bit ARMv7 application needs a lot of memory, so much that a Nvidia Jetson Nano with 2GB of RAM can't complete the tasks when doing four at a time -a 4GB model can barely finish them. A 4GB Odroid-N2+ that has six cores can't do six at a time, but has no problem doing two. As a 64-bit ARMv8 application could address much more memory it might speed up the calculations (with WEP-M+2 a 64-bit app halved the calculation time under Linux/ARM, under Android it was even brought back to a quarter).

BoincStats is reporting T.Brada Experimental Grid 641,506.85 for me now
BOINC Combined Statistics reports 641,506
FreeDC still reports 548,695 (but will report 641,506 soon too)

BOINC Combined Statistics and FreeDC: report 548,695 total credit
-76,988 for me today (again....)

FreeDC: T.Brada Experimental Grid Prime Tuples 214,223 -76,988
According to my account page: Prime Tuples credit 306,818 total, 1,332.94 average (4678 tasks)

BoincStats reports 625,683.89 total credit (they have a fail-over for negative credit)

There's new work, hurray!

Can those credits get exported to the stats sites too, please?

This is again a valid question, as we now have new work.
8) Message boards : Closed Issues : ARM SPT RAM Usage (Message 4629)
Posted 1 Jul 2021 by Dirk Broer
Post:
I think I can state that the SPT app needs at least 1GB RAM per core to run without problems.
I suspended three tasks on the Jetson Nano 2GB, because the progress after 23 hours was minimal.
The Odroid-N2+ has 4GB for six cores and also falls below the limit. It needs to be nursed back to running state and have at least two task suspended.
It is a pity my 8GB Raspberry Pi 4 doesn't get tasks, even though it has the needed alternate platform added to the cc_config.xml

Nvidia Jetson Nano 2GB: low CPU usage on all four Cortex-A57 cores (5-10%), takes forever (four task, running 16 to 14 hours now, wanting one to four more days)
Nvidia Jetson Nano 4GB: high CPU usage on all four Cortex-A57 cores (99.0-99.3%), takes on average 15,000 seconds per WU
Odroid-N2+ 4GB: The four Cortex-A73 cores each take 74% CPU, the two A53 cores take 86-87%, big variance in task completion time (498 to 19,000 secs.)

These three systems all make use of ZRAM

Today I was surprised with a credit score of -76,988.
The loss was all with Prime Tuples, which went to 214,223 from yesterday's 291,211.
All credit scored between 2021-02-26 and 2021-03-15 is gone.

13) Message boards : Number crunching : Badges (Message 4317)

This project has three subprojects. Badges are handed out for the total number of credits, for the RAC (the (in)famous generic temporary badges that are the same for all projects) and for just one of the subprojects, Prime Tuples. Why are there no badges for PADLS-Total? I don't think anybody has enough credits for Lua-Experimental to warrant a badge for that subproject, but still...

Fixed the issue in FUH (how it got back in??).

The standard case, I'm afraid:
You have your original source code, which goes into production.
Problems arise, you make a fix on the production code.
You develop a new version, from the original source code
The new version has the same issue as the old had...

millions went before you....

Posted 4 Feb 2020 by Dirk Broer
Post:
I think that what I done, is the most I can do. The lost or aborted results and credits are lost.
Still, it was less than 22 hours worth of data. What if it was three days? I think my time will be better spent on getting those incremental xtradb backups to work, which would allow faster backup period (perhaps twice a day). And loading more tasks from the new search interval.
If somebody really wants their credits back, go ahead and make a program that turns the xml stat files (diffs!) into sql update statements.
The project will be operating normally from now. Hit the update button in your manager, abort ghost tasks if any.

I've got the xml files prior to the crash if you'd like to use them to restore credits ??

It would be wise to ask Bok for the content of what he can supply before stating 'all is lost'

Dear Bok. I do not think I need the xml files. Most of the credit has been granted for recovered work. And the rest would be just too much hassle to import.

This is the result of the crash...for some devastating
