As stated in title I Do not get email notification(s) in subscribed forum topics. * I have checked my email's junk/spam folders nothing there. * I do get the in-program BOINC Notification of new posts to subscribed topic(s). * Confirmed I do have it enabled in my account settings: How should we notify you of new private messages, friend requests, posts in subscribed threads, and other events? Immediately, by email . Perhaps you have not turned on this option/feature in the server configuration? |

The server does not support sending any e-mails. I just forgot to disable the option to select email notifications. Boinc in-program notifications, as well as rss feed are supported and should work. It works for me. |

Please consider this a low priority bug report. I believe the outgoing email from the server is not working. I'm not receiving emails about posts in subscribed forum threads, and not receiving email for incoming private messages. My email address is correct, and the community preferences are set to "immediate". The messages aren't in my spam filter. From experience, I know it's difficult getting this to work correctly, and this isn't very important, so nobody should complain if it's not fixed soon (or ever). I just want to make sure you're aware of it. Want to find one of the largest known primes? Try PrimeGrid. Or help cure disease at WCG. |
