Most BOINC sites require having a minimum of total credits before allowing a user profile. If you're going to use RAC, please make it somewhat attainable; 4000 is just too high.

I agree. 4000 RAC is too high. It should be total credit and the same amount as posting to forum. I must revise the settings. There is a chicken an egg problem with the forum posting requirement.
However there are about 30 automated spam accounts registered every day! It is not a problem yet, but if they are allowed to post, it will be bad.

And you've got bigger fish to fry now anyway. I'm just putting it out there so you can add it to your (expletive) long list of things to do :)

Creating a user profile should require 4000 total credits which is, I believe, adequate amount. Where does it require 4000 RAC?

The credit requirement was misleadingly set to RAC in the source code. Changed to total.
I also set minimum posting credit of 200 to some of the forums.
