Better late than never. The PADLS Total experiment described in this thread is running fine on this server and is producing good results.

More details in Subproject Description.

A effort was initiated to install the subproject over at Ice00's server server.

The search algorithm is not the most efficient, but gives reasonable results.

Do you know more efficient algorithms?
I know, for example, algorithm of the multisymmetry that now works on my PC.

A effort was initiated to install the subproject over at boinc.Progger.info server.

"boinc.Progger.info server" ???
And what is the result?
Progger should replace the CFs DLS check program with family_mar.
I wrote about this on the ODLK forum.

Outage.
A problem occurred and both scheduler and processing daemons are offline. I expect the finished tasks to remain at users' computers, to be uploaded after the problem is solved. If there are more pressing issues, please write. Forum should continue working.

It seems to be happening quite often. Every other day or so i'll find my PCs unable to upload. Some time later I have new tasks.

Many workunits waiting for validation is not a serious problem, they will just be processed later.
The scheduler or feeder being down is serious - means that clients are not able to upload finished tasks.
The later has been fixed.

While that is not normal, boinc is designed to handle such situations gracefully. Yes, we had some connection outages.

One hard drive was added to the server and the data and database volumes were moved there. LVM hung-up while creating a snapshot so a reboot was necessary. Backup was taken prior to this. Then a cleaning process was started. I do not know why, but deleting of old results is somewhat slow. The assimilator will remain be suspended while the cleaning is in progress, at lease initially. There is still good reserve of ready to send tasks. Indeed, there was some downtime.
If there are any problems, do not hesitate to write.

Everything was normal for a few hours, then the assimilator stopped working again. I will fix it.

My pending is clear now.

Are the completed tasks still being purged? I noticed it went from 10k to 5k and now back to 6k. Keeping many tasks just puts extra load on the server.

Great. All validation pending tasks have validated and assimilated ok. Except one, and that was resolved.
For purging, there is a time limit set. Iirc it's two weeks so we can investigate failures. The old tasks do not really put much load, because the database has indexes (indices) on the state and assimilated tasks are not considered at all when processing or assigning tasks. Anyway, the purge process is still set to run from time-to-time, but possibly not fast enough. I will adjust it, once there is more data.

Tomáš Brada
Is something not working in the project again?
The experiment has been running for two months now.
Why is there no stability?
What is the problem?

Very little information!

By the way, when will the project database appear?
We agreed on the monthly publication of the project results.
Did not you forget?

You ignored my question here.
What does it mean?

There is information in other forums.
For example

https://www.seti-germany.de/forum/threads/8784-ODLK-(Lateinische-Quadrate)/page4?p=321153&viewfull=1#post321153

I assume problems are due to checkpoints (?)
ODLK and ODLK1 projects work without checkpoints.

Natalia, Thank tou very much .
So Brada/ODLK/ODLK1 is the same. Different scientist approach, but same research team.
Due to the so much problem on Brada, I stay on ODLK/LatinSqares.
Best regards.

It is right?
Are all new solutions already in the file?
