I know the effort is going towards developing the badging for SPT, but I would like to also know if our account page will shortly display our point totals for sub-projects (currently SPT/STPT) so we'll have an idea of when we will achieve the next/first badge for a sub-project? Thank you, Steve |

And of a bit more concern, the stats for the stpt tracks are not being exported (yet :)) |

And of a bit more concern, the stats for the stpt tracks are not being exported (yet :)) There are no statistics exported for individual applications. To my knowledge, only the totals are exported. Am I mistaken? |

Yes. If you set up sub-projects correctly as Boinc allows you to, the stats can be exported for each sub-project. |

Thanks for the hint. The sub-project stats are now exported. |

Can't comment on what is being exported but it would be expected that if you added up the individual sub-projects totals it would match your total credit for the project on your account page. This is clearly not the case. |

This is clearly not the case. He explained that he doesn’t have the data for the older apps, so it’s always going to be incomplete and not add up. You know, like Florida elections. There are only four sub-projects and at least one -LUA- does (presently, likely due to Alpha phase) does not show any points, nor is it mentioned yet at WuProp (should be 4x 8=32 points for me out of 8 tasks). My guess is that it falls under 'Experimental credit', but then the '2 tasks' isn't right. Remaining for me: PADLS-Total (9,427.73 hours for me at WuProp), SPT (1,730.77 hours for me at WuProp) seemingly 784 tasks and 30,469 credits STPT (new, only 24.53 hours at WuProp, a mere 10 tasks, each 68.23 credits, so 682,30 credits) It looks to me like my score for PADLS-Total is 203,846 minus 30,469=173,377 credits |

Then all of those he doesn't know plus the PADLS work should be put under the PADLS-Total sub-project total to make the project total equal the sub-project totals. |

"PADLS-Total credit" is zero, because we do not have the data to put anything there. It consists of PADLS Total (tot5) application. "Prime Tuples credit" is from applications: 10/spt/Symmetric Prime Tuples and 11/stpt/Symmetric Twin Prime Tuples (beta). "Experimental credit" is also zero, because some data was lost and some experimental tasks are still sitting there, unvalidated. It includes the Lua Alfa and any future experimental apps. Added: It isn't written anywhere that credit from subprojects should add up to total credit of project. If this becomes a problem, then I can revert back to the view without sub-projects. |

I was only trying to help to compose a total that is made up of the parts. I am not insisting that it should be done, just offering a method. |

Dear Dirk, your idea to retroactively compute the parts to fit total is sound. But I do not think that it is fair to mix accurate info with inaccurate just to make parts equal to total. I got another idea: hide the padls and lua subproject credit from the user page to prevent confusion. Zero credit when the work was not zero does not look good. But I must check how it affects stats exports. What do you think? |

"PADLS-Total credit" is zero, because we do not have the data to put anything there. It consists of PADLS Total (tot5) application. Forgive me for appearing stupid here but I don't understand why you don't have the data. I can see the WU's for PADLS and the credit that they have earned. Why is this not enough information to maintain a running total of credit for the subproject? Is this not the same for every sub-project - or even project out there? |

"PADLS-Total credit" is zero, because we do not have the data to put anything there. It consists of PADLS Total (tot5) application. Further to that and perhaps even simpler - could the PADLS subproject total not be incremented when a task is returned and validated at exactly the same time that the grand total is incremented? I am really sorry if I am being very naive here and oversimplifying things, but it does seem that if you can increment the grand total then you can increment the sub-project total at the same time with the same number! |

PADLS work is not accounted on per-app basis. |

Retroactively assign app-credit and app-result counts using tot_oldcredit table. The credit re-calculated using current formula excedes total in some users, so maybe nerf the multiplier there or just assign result-count. idk |
