Good luck with the project. The workunits, which lie within the manual project range are disabled (10999), that is good, but you will have to find out how to input the manual results into the prime tuple database. Do not forget to enable the assimilator and stats export.

Conan, you need to select a valid option under "Notifications". I logged in under your authenticator, and found it was set to email, which is not supported by this project. Ref: https://boinc.tbrada.eu/forum_thread.php?id=3028

Intriguing idea: let users select their own badges. Thus it happened. You can, with enough credits, pick some extra badges in your community preferences.

MariaDB 10.6 deprecated the COMPRESSED format in favour of Page compression which rendered the result table unwritable. The page compression, althought simpler and more effective in the database, is using sparse files. I want to say, that sparse files are retarded, but it could be offensive. Well, we disabled the deprecation and continue. Whatever.

Deleted 232942 bogus entries of batch 80.
And marked batch 80 as stable (no errored wus).

Changes to spt batch 81:

  1. Increase minimum odd-length SPT to be 13 primes long
  2. Do not derive 12-prime TPT from TPT(14)s
  3. decrease estimated flops multiplier to 14
  4. Increase memory requirement to 640 MiB

The credit multiplier was found to be still adequate, and was not changed. Please let me know of problems.

I forgot about the project for a while, thats why tasks run out. I will submit another batch shortly. But first must analyze memory and processor requirements. With bigger numbers, memory estimate and credit multiplier must be increases.

The SPT app needs a lot of ram today, 600M. It is likely used by the Prime Sieve. The size of the sieve memory grows with square root of n, so the growth is not avoidable. It will have to be increased in the WU definition. Someone with come C and profiling knowledge can verify this.

BOINC Combined Statistics and FreeDC: report 548,695 total credit
-76,988 for me today (again....)

FreeDC: T.Brada Experimental Grid Prime Tuples 214,223 -76,988
According to my account page: Prime Tuples credit 306,818 total, 1,332.94 average (4678 tasks)

BoincStats reports 625,683.89 total credit (they have a fail-over for negative credit)

I see the numbers, but I do not understand.

There's new work, hurray!
Credits get assigned, hurray again!
Can those credits get exported to the stats sites too, please?

This is again a valid question, as we now have new work.

Export has timestamp 06-Jul-2021, can you verify it is picked up by stats correctly?
